The moon was split in two, because Muhammad (SAW) was ordered by his people to split the moon. We can still see the crack on the moon if you look closely. People say that the moon was created because when the earth formed, one planet rammed into it and the pieces of broken earth turned into the moon. Did you know that the moon caused tides? I didn't, and I still don't understand how.
